When using a pid, I plug the pid into wall outlet then my OBS into the pid, won't this also kill power to the smoke genarator when the target temp is reached? Just need to know if this is correct.  thanks, Smokin Bill

The PID should be connected so as to only control the box heating element and not both the smoke generator as well as the box.  I just leave the smoke generator turned on for the whole smoke and let the PID turn the box heater on and off to control the temp.  Works great
