I made a pulled pork last night using a 5lb. bone-in picnic roast. I like the bone in, keeps it a bit juicier. So, I smoked it for 4 hrs with apple, got a nice bark on it. When smoking was done I mopped it twice with peach cider then finished it with some sliced peaches on top and apple slices underneath and on top of the peach slices, secured with tooth picks. Let it cook a couple more hours, pulled toothpicks and FTC'd while I slept. Had some for breakfast, nice smokey taste, great bark and juicy meat. Don't know if the peaches made any difference aside from keeping the roast moist. All in all, a great smoke. Okay, off to putting 1/2 the clod in the smoker. ;D

The peaches sound like a neat idea.  Sweet things are great with pork. Kind of lightens up the meal a bit.  I like that and will give it a try.

Sounds interesting. Where did you get the peach cider?

Habs, my son brought the peach cidar up from S. Carolina. It has a nice taste to it, not overly sweet as one would expect.
