Duster

Hello to all, It's been a little while since my last post. I apologize, They have promoted me to engineering at work so my whole schedule has been messed up this last couple of months.
Anyway, I promised my family some pulled pork this Sunday for dinner. My wife's family is in town and she has bragged it up so much that I'm afraid that if I don't deliver then I may be cut up and stuffed into the smoker. However the problem is that 1, it's cold, but a few beers can fix that, and two Mr. Weather Man is calling for rain this afternoon and turning into snow late tonight. I don't have a garage and there's no power to my shed so I had to come up with something! I generally set up on the front deck and then can plug my OBS into an outside outlet without an extension cord. And suddenly what an idea!
So here it is

I have 2 5lb butts and one 8lb butt and was afraid that it would not be enough so I took 2 pork round steaks from butchering this fall ( they would have been ham steaks but we didn't cure them) and rolled them up and tied them into a roast. Not real sure how there gonna turn out but for now they look good.

Can't wait till there done now I'll send some more food porn this way when they come out of the smoker.

Smoking Duck

What a great idea Duster.....now, you just need to figure a way to get that on ice so you can smoke and fish at the same time.  I really think you're on to something there.

Good luck on the smoke!

Steeler....she's a keeper!

Hey Bud, I wondered where you had been. Your setup looks great, you can see the engineering background has paid off. Good luck on your smoke, glad to see you back on the forum, and in case you disappear again, Merry Christmas!

Mr Walleye

Hey Duster..... It just doesn't get any better than that!

Fishin' & Pulled Pork!
