Favorite Recipes ???

My favorite has to be pulled pork.  Sometimes I use EVOO prior to the rub, sometimes mustard.  Haven't really noticed a difference.  Will be doing 2 boston butts on Sunday for Christmas Eve dinner and will probably go with mustard this time.

H-e-double hockey sticks, anything smoked is good by me.

By the way, where are you at in the Hoosier state?  I'm a Hoosier myself.

Almost forgot. Manx and I have a killer smoked liver pate' recipe. He he he  :o :D ;)

Hi Smokey Duck


I'm in Indianapolis on the North East side next to the reservoir. Just keep driving up Fall Creek until you smell smoke and cooked meat, and see a bunch of people (my neighbors) peeking over a fence to see what I've got cookin'.

Pulled Pork has definitely been a hit for parties. I lay it out on a platter once it's been properly cooked and FTC'd and pretty soon there's nothing left on or near it but people with clean forks and empty plates who didn't get there in time. I get my Boston Butts at Costco and have had good luck with them.

I'm going to try the Pastrami Recipe too.

Hey Smokin' Hoosier,


I'm in Elkhart myself. Just went to the supermarket myself and got 16 lbs of boston butt to smoke for this weekend (I'm a Steeler fan 8) ) so if you're up this way, follow the waft of smoke and intorduce yourself.

There will be plenty o' grub this weekend.
