Wasn't a Bradley that self-destructed on me, was a Masterbult from Dick's Sporting Goods.  I guess I may have overseasoned it, and from what I've read so far, should have gone with the Bradley in the first place. 

I could tell you where the landfill is, but I'm fairly certain that exposed foam insulation will NOT contribute to a smooth, smoked flavor.  At least I've never found the smell of burnt plastic appealling with my cuisine 8).

Thanks again everyone for all of the feedback.  I keep finding myself coming back to this forum and soaking up as much info as I can.

That had me going to Hab. I couldn't figure it out until I found out it wasn't a Bradley.
