New one to me Stoker. Was the cabinet hot? If not, did you check the fuse on the back of the generator?

No worries, Bradley will replace the unit. But it's still a PITA for someone who wants to begin enjoying his purchase.[B)]

Yes unit was at 225F was smoking for about 1 hour (3 bisquettes) with no problems than bang dead. The smoke generator was cool, I could touch the heating plate with my bare hand, only heat was from main element.
