FishnHunt

Hello,

I'm a 28 yo from Texas who recently (last night) made sausage for the first time and had a great time in doing so.  I can see years of sausage making in the future.  I've read a few of your posts (found the site today) and there is some great info on here! I just purchased Kutas' book so hopefully that will help too.
If you have time, please look into my post at http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=8643.0
as I think I might need some help w/ last nights batch.  The post is in the Cure forum & titled "New Guy - Potential Problem."

Thanks for all the great info!

Welcome, FishnHunt!  You'll absolutely love the amount of knowledge you'll gain here.

Mr Walleye has got you taken care of in your other post.  There are some others here as well who are top-notch in regards to sausage making.  There's also a feller by the name of stickbowcrafter who hunts with a wooden bow and makes killer sausage all the time but I haven't seen him around much lately.  Life has probably gotten him pretty busy.  Do a search of his posts and I think you'll like what you see.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the great info....I appreciate it.  Stumbling on this site was a blessing!

I've always wanted to take a deer from start to finish (hunting it, dressing it, deboning it, mixing it, stuffing the sausage and then smoking it) and I finally bit the bullet w/ this most recent kill.  I cant wait to try some other items.  This is definitely going to be a regular thing!

Welcome to the forum! Love your handle, I love to fish and hunt as well. Don't get to do as much as I would like since the kids came along, but a few more years and that should improve. This forum is fantastic and you will learn so much if you stick around and check in often. I owe a lot of members on here a debt of gratitude. People love what I produce from the Bradley and It would not have happened without this forum. I have 2 big Christmas party's coming up and they will be dominated by smoked food and all of the recipes come from this forum. Welcome again and enjoy the smoke!

Welcome.  Grab hold and hold on.  Lots of fun and lots of good advice from the elders, but beware the tea bag!
