Mr Walleye

Well... Christmas Eve. Day is here...

I have about 25 "outlaws" coming this afternoon so I started out last night gettin' a wack of ribs ready for the smoker today. I was up bright and early, fired up the smoker and headed out for coffee with the boys (my morning ritual). About 8 am I slipped back home from work to slide the ribs in (had to work this morning)... of coarse I slopped grease all down the front of my dress clothes.  ::) So into the house and change again. Back to work for a couple of hours... then back to the house to rotate racks of ribs... I didn't even have to change my clothes that time.  ::) Then back to work for a few hours before shutting it down at noon. Back home... changed clothes again... foiled the ribs and into the oven to free up the smoker for 10 lbs of wings. Once the ribs are ready they will get a quick sauce on the grill and the wings will get finished in the Big Easy. To round out the feast will be a selection of cheese (sorry, not smoked), my smoked Keilbasa, Kummok's Salmon, shrimp and what ever the wife has planned...

Ahhh... It's all good, especially now that I have a rum & eggnog on the go.  8)

Which brings up this...

I just wanted to wish all my good smokin' friends on the forum a really great Christmas and all the best in the New Year. I hope everybody is surrounded with family and friends.

Peace be with you and your family.

Thank you, Mike.  We kid each other around quite a bit, but I consider you a good friend.

Merry Christmas Mike,
As we speak, the fireplace is going, the beer is cold and the pot of lump crab, crawfish and corn chowder is hanging out on the stove.  Sounds like you are going to have a large feast.  I also have canadian bacon tenderloins, smoked almonds and smoked white cheddar hanging around just in case.

All the best to you.  You have helped me many times and I appreciate it.
