So with my new OBS, I'm going to be getting 4 of the Jerky Screens, but I wanted to know about extra racks.  Should I get 4 racks, then add 4 more screens?  Or should I just buy 4 Jerky Racks?  Thoughts?

Wildcat

I recommend 4 extra regular racks.  The jerky racks do not hold up well and with the jerky screens, you will accomplish the same results.  With the extra racks, if you invert the second 4 extra ones, you can manage to smoke a total of 8 racks of jerky at the same time.

I totally agree with Wildcat.  The Bradley non-stick coated jerky racks simply do not hold up.  In a lot of cases, mine included, the non-stick coating begins to flake off and adhere to the food.  Order the high temp jerky screens from Brian at Yard and Pool.  They are little more costly but much better quality.

I second the recommendation on the high temp screens from yard and Pool. They are fantastic.

Can't comment on the high temp jerky screens as unfortunately they are not available on this side of the pond but I am on my third set of bradley jerky racks.... not very robust.

The non-stick racks don't hold up, the regular ones are not that great either...

the (high temp) screens are the way to go.
