Glad to hear that all went well pensrock wish you a speedy recovery. But why have ice when you can have ice cream.

HR
I am not as "think" as you "drunk" I am.

I like the way you think HR, but I would have to go to the store to get icecream.  :(
I did make it to the pharmacy this morning for some pain meds, should have got them yesterday on the way home. Oh well I'm good to go for now.
thanks,

take care of your self...do what the doctor says...then dance like that penquin on your keyboard....do u sell those?

Thank you everyone for the concern and well wishes:

OK Doc update, he told me he completely cleaned out the whole shoulder joint, there was a lot of arthritis and big bone spurs, he said the spurs were bigger than he thought they were and there was more arthritis than expected. He checked how much movement I could do without too much pain and wanted me to go to PT. I told him I was not working and my insurance charges a $30 per visit copay for PT and I could not go. So he showed me several exercises and stretches to do at home and wants to see me in two weeks. He removed the stitches and said it was healing fine. So all in all, things are looking pretty good, do my stretches a couple times each day to improve range of motion then work on strengthening the shoulder. Still taking the pain meds, mainly at night but so far so good.

I need either more pain meds or a lot of adult beverages before you see me dancing like the penguin is, lol  ;D
Do I sell what? penguins? keyboards? or dance lessons....  ;D

Sounds like the report I got on the followup visit.

Sounds like everything is healing good, moving your arm in just over a week is always a good sign and PT (weather you do it your self or go see some one) is the best thing for full recovery and full rotation.

With the damage i did to my shoulder the doc didnt think i would ever be able to have full rotation let alone be able to clap my hands above my head, but i showed him. Got it all back
