Question????What do ya'all do with the water/grease/oil/burned brisquettes? I poured 'em in a galvanized pail, and will prolly just dump it all in the field, but wanted to find out what others do with that waste.

I chuck mine over my west fence.

That's not a bad idea...I don't like that guy anway. ;D ;D ;D

The spent pucks go into a stick burner just to say "I Recycle"  ;D ;D ;D  The rest I put in a bowl and let the coons and possums enjoy.  That way peta thinks I'm a good guy!  ;D ;D ;D

OK...Here we go with the first results...I am so very happy!!!
The first batch, a brisket and a butt in a brand new lightly seasoned smoker

The first Brisket

The first carving

The first butt

Pulled :)

I'm hooked...Thanks for all your help. I won't be a stranger.

Very nice...Very nice indeed navigator!  I especially like the ABT's with the stem on them....we always called those rats before I learned the ABT moniker and lost the tail!   :D  Keep us posted!

Its amazing what one can accomplish when one doesn't know what one can't do!

I needed to put my sunglasses on for that first pic!

Wow!!!  Great first run.

Save that 'shiny new smoker' pic, and go back to it in a few months for comparison.

Great job!

JoeHifi

Good looking Rats... ABTs.

Hey Nav - Do you think you could fit a couple of the ABTs in a stamped self addressed envelope?

Heck of a first smoke. I think you have had a Bradley for awhile and bought a new one to show what a good smoker you are. ;D ;D

Nice job!

I noticed you used alternating pucks....what woods did you use?

KyNola

CRG,
Nav's another gray beard apparently, just like you and me.  I'm thinking us gray beards rock a smoker.  What 'cha say Nav?

Wish my beard was white like my hair!

White beard guys rock for sure!!! What does Tom Petty say? "Ya never slow down, Ya never grow old!!!"
I tried puttin an ABT in the mail, but too greasy, the stanp wouldn't stay on. Sorry AM :D
Bisquettes were alternating apple and mesquite....The pachanga tips said that too much Bradley mesquite left a bitter taste. I mostly followed his recepie. Thanks for all the awesome help.  ;)
PS CRG...nope, little chiefs, and my modified Weber grill.  ;D
