Scrap Iron Chef's Bacon

Has anyone tried Alton Brown's Scrap Iron Chef's Bacon?  I'd appreciate hearing any opinions.
There's room for all of God's critters right next to the mashed taters and gravy!

I haven't tried it, may do so in the future. If you want to know how it will taste, go to the bacon section in your super market and purchase "uncured" or "natural" bacon. These types are cured using only salt, but make sure you read the label, if nitrites are listed try another brand. Salt cured bacon does not have that characteristic bacon flavor of bacon that is cured using a nitrite.
