Looking for 3/8" stuffing tube

Well, to report on my progress, I only found one supplier in Canada that can provide the 3/8" stuffing tube with a 1-1/2" flange to fit the common 5 lb vertical stuffer.  They are JB's Sausage Supplies in Regina, Saskatchewan, and although they do not stock the 606a stuffing tube from LEM Products, they are willing to bring it in along with their regular order from that supplier.  This would take some planning ahead as I'm not sure how often they order.   I corresponded with Brent on this issue and he was very helpful. He quoted me $15.99 CDN plus shipping which is much cheaper than trying to order it myself from the US.

All this is kind of moot, because by the time I got this far, I had a colleague who works in a machine shop fabricate one for me. Just used it today for the first time and it worked slick.  I have included a drawing I made for it.  The quality is not great because it was converted from a PDF to JPG, but if you want the original PDF, send me your email address.

Forget the 8" length. Go for a full 12".

The stuffer can hold the weight. If you go the 12" you can put a whole length of casing on it.

Also it needs to be welded on the inside where the 2 pieces mate. Other wise you will get meat in the crack..........unless you press it the tube in the washer.
Buy welding it on the inside, you can bevel and polish the rad.
