I am looking for a 3/8" (10mm) stuffing tube to fit a 5 lb vertical sausage stuffer similar to the one made by LEM Products or Northern Tool. Here is a link to what I am looking for:

http://www.lemproducts.com/product/3306/stuffing_tube

The problem I am having is that I am from Canada, and every supplier I can find for this type of stuffing tube is in the US and they want $20 to $25 shipping for a $12.99 item. Does anyone know a supplier in Canada for a stuffing tube like this?  It needs to be 3/8" diameter for breakfast sausages and snack sticks, and the flange at the bottom must be 1-1/2" to 1-9/16".

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes it feels like our southern border is made of concrete.    ::)

Try Halfords, they have a catalog on line
The Sausage Maker in Buffalo is pretty good at shipping across the border
All I wanted to do was slow smoke some ribs.  Another addiction created thanks to the Bradley that requires regular servicing...  But what an addiction to have.  Even better to share here with some of the best people on the planet.

Would you like smoke with that sir ?

It still has to come across the border.  Shipping companies are getting rich shipping stuff around.  Its nuts really.
You really have to watch the shipping costs on this stuff or anything for that matter.  I have had some nasty
surprises when a duty and brokerage bill showed up in the mail that was twice the value of the stuff I bought

JB's is in Regina and last time I ordered an extended tube from Scott it cost me $41 including shipping. (3/4" x12" stainless stuffing tube)

No worries mate  ( spent 3 months in Australia way back when ) and imported some of the language
I thought he was a US guy, my bad as the kids would say !
I must pay better attention.

BUT
The shipping companies are getting rich off shipping stuff from internet ordering and sometimes you cannot be totally sure
about what its going to cost you in the end

Agree with you fully on the S&H charges. When to post office to p/u my US package and damm near passed out when I was given the bill by customs Canada for duty charges.
Between duty and S&H the price can double.

Hows the knee ;)

Don't forget the brokerage fees.   I just ordered something, unrelated to smoking, and the total cost was $21.    Shipping will be $19 and that shipped by US Postal service and I won't find out what the brokerage fees are until it gets here.  I don't know how I got on there list but Halfords sends me catalogues and they have a lot of neat stuff but are a little pricey IMO.

Lumpy;

Is JB's a reliable vendor, or you haven't ordered enough from them to make a judgement?

Habs's
Over the last 2 years I've probably spent 4-500 with them. They have a great customer service and shipped my goods on time.
Mr. Walleye can probably give you more info on them.
When I run out of supplies, I will re-order from them again.

I just emailed them trying to get a price list of some kind
They dont post pricing online which makes it challenging to do any comparing

I have a handy friend who made me one. I used 3/8 stainless steel tubing ,a flat washer that fits inside the collar he then welded them together and I did the filing until it was smooth. Works excellent for 19mm casings and it is not hard to stuff thru either. Piker

Thanks to all of you for your help.  I am pursuing some of the options you suggested and will let you know how things turn out.
