I have to ask ....

Typically what does this upgrade cost ?
I think I need one, want one...   there is a difference right...  between need and want ?
All I wanted to do was slow smoke some ribs.  Another addiction created thanks to the Bradley that requires regular servicing...  But what an addiction to have.  Even better to share here with some of the best people on the planet.

Would you like smoke with that sir ?

I just ordered an element and shield. I'll be doing the upgrade as soon as it warms up enough to work on it.

I would pop rivet the side on that shield before you start drilling!

Look at the spot welds.....if it looks cheap....rivet!
If your so cool....where's your Tattoo.

All I know is if you want it run people over to get it!  You deserve it right?

I bought 2 heating elements and a new heat sheild from Yard and Pool.

Then I bought 4 foot of high temp wire and spades from Allied Kenco.

Total cost for all of it was around $50.

Thanks.  I will have to find a Cannuck source or wait till I am across the border for a business trip and have it shipped to my hotel
