Up In Smoke

I finally took some time and made some snack sticks.
Black forest from Nepas recipe. Again.....Thank you Nepas!

only a couple of pics.......i did 5 lb saturday and they are all gone!

after 7.5 hours and 5 cherry pucks.

Here is the kicker of the whole deal...I don't (didn't) like beef sticks much at all, and i ate a bunch of these.
I have been converted!
cannot wait to make more.

I didn't like the last ones I made either...I need to use leaner ground beef. Mine were so greasy that I hated them. I will try again but I will trim a couple chuck steaks of all fat and grind myself.
