It's not how much you smoke but how many friends you make while doing it...

You're so right!  I broke out a bottle of Glenrothes that was bottled in 1982--the year my son was born.  Had two wee drammies today with both my boys (the graduate is almost 23, and the younger will be 21 in 9 days, so I figured it's time to treat them to the good stuff).  I just purchased a bottle of Bowmore 21 that was bottled in 1984, the year the younger boy was born, and in 2008 I will buy a bottle of The Macallan 18 year old that will have been bottled in 1990 when my daughter was born.  I'll break open the Bowmore 21 in two years when the younger boy graduates, and the Macallan 18 will sit until 2012 when my now-15 year old daugher graduates from college.

Hey John! Welcome back to the world of the walking! Glad to hear the op went well[:)]  Sorry to hear that they damaged the spell checker during surgery, but it sounds like the single malt taster came through without a nick....You DO know the good stuff! Sorry about the tardy "Welcome Back".....my only excuse is the I've been fishing. Managed to pick up 4 Kings, 3 Halibut and 2 Green Ling Saturday, so soon's I can, I'll smoke you up some post-op recovery meds, (too late for the Green Ling...they dedicated their lives to fish tacos last night[:p]) [;)][:D]

35 years of extinguishing smoking stuff and now I'm wondering WHY!

Kummock, my friend, the e-mail you sent me shortly after I returned home was the best medicine anyone could ask for.  Can't wait for your prescription to arrive!
