Hello again
Yesterday I did at try at Kielbasa and I must say they were yummy
I also made some venisonsausage
Only one problem, I really need to get myself a stuffer. The problem is that I live in Sweden and very few people makes there one sausage here. Its hard to get a stuffer at a OK price. I've been looking around at shops in UK and U.S. The problem is the shipping to Sweden. Can anybody help me and point me in the right direction for a good shop? I've looked at grizzly.com and I'm thinking of something like there 5lb stuffer. Problem there is that u must order for 200 USD for them to ship to Sweden.

Here's some pics of my makings...

Hej Tomsbjorn,

Here are three companies on this side of the pond I have used and all three provide excellent service -

The last site is in German but I guess you probably speak German as well.  I've met a lot of Swedes who do on my trips to your beautiful country.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Thanks for the replies.

I have looked at Sausage Making and that's were my money is right now. The sites in Germany is good quality but expensive.
I'm also thinkin of ordering 3 stuffers from grizzly.com and selling the two I don't need in Sweden. Anyone have one of those at grizzly? I would like to know the size of the tube is at it says,
"Includes 3 plastic stuffing tubes: 1/2", 7/8" and 1"? I was a bit worried when I locked at the site and were looking at the site were you could by parts and there it says 5/8",7/8",1? Anyone who knows?

I have the 5lb Grizzly H6252 stuffer and it is a great stuffer for the price.  The tubes that came with it are 1/2 inch, 7/8 inch and 1 inch.  The cylinder measures 8 inches high by 4 7/8 inch diameter.  Base measures 9 1/2 inch long by 6 inch wide.  I use the 1 inch tube to stuff the 35mm to 38mm hog casings and have not had a problem with it at all.  Before you load it up with meat I would recommend that you run the plunger down to the bottom so you can see how many screw threads are sticking up.  Mine has about 2 screw threads exposed.  This is my measurement to let me know that I am at the bottom and to stop cranking.  Excess pressure on the plastic gears could cause them to strip out.  But if you stop at the bottom and don't crank on it you will be fine.  Once you get your stuffer you will want to make all kinds of sausage.  It is a cake walk.  But don't tell your friends how easy it is.   ;D

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

for a little more money you can buy a 5lbs stuffer from LEM that has metal gears
instead of grizzlies with plastic gears
