So next I have a 12 pound whole gobbler to smoke. She's defrosting in the fridge right now too. Can't wait. I know where to get help when I need it thats for sure.

I would think it was from the two pieces above it driping down and "washing" away the spice.

It's all good! It was dynamite looking!

I bet it didn't affect the taste.
