Woke up this morning and my feet hit the tile floor and it is so cold.  I look outside and see ice on my fence.   :o WHAT?  I have not seen ice since 1993 when I left Kansas.  This just ain't right I tell ya.  Wife said with the wind chill it got down to 14 at least that is what is being reported.  All I know is that I am allergic to cold as I break out in shivers.  Now if I only had a orange pumkin hat I think I would be set.  ;D

Hey Sailer, Back in January 1989 I was working for a company out of Boca Raton, nice my say, and we were finishing up a job down Miami. We were redoing a judges chamber and court room adding bullet proof cabinetry. I had to run out to the truck and grab something and Lo and behold it was snowing. We got a little dusting but it didn't really stay for long. But let me tell you these crazy people down there couldn't drive at all. (end of story)

It was 1° this morning at 5am when I got up. Currently we have about 2" of snow on the ground and it's 8° with Wind Chill at -4 degree.

Keep safe and remember to turn off the sprinklers. ;D

I had to pre-heat my bed last night! Who would have ever thought you would have to preheat a bed in Louisiana????(I'm not a wimp or anything, but when you crawl into a bed you should not have to JUMP right back out and make up new cuss words!) I had sparks flying from the electric blanket and was still cold. AND, this is the first I have ever used an electric blanket, only a week old.

It's sad. I'm in love with an electric blanket. Momma don't stand a chance, the blanket don't have elbows or knees.....OR cold feet!

27 is just not normal around here. Well maybe every once in a while, but damm, that's just not right. I should still be mowing grass. ::)
