Hi arcs n sparks,

In addition to the info already given, to save taking your smoke generator apart,a picture of a similar motor can be found at:

Manxman,

So far I have been unable to locate a U.S. distributor for the part in question. The next step (which is more difficult), is to figure out what U.S. OEM employs the motor as part of their own product and hope that they resell it as a replacement part. The most obvious OEMs from their client list are Samsung, Daewoo, and LG. However, it is almost a snipe hunt to figure out what products they may be in (microwave turntable as noted at one point). I'll keep plugging away for a bit.....

Arcs,

If your search is hindered by a requirement to purchase a minimum amount, we'd be willing to buy a bunch & sell them to the members singly. Just let us know if you're successful.

I think the answer will probably be in the microwave turntable category (and no minimum will be required). The company in question sells into the Panasonic line. I've come across a number of Panasonic turntable motors in the $10 to $35 dollar range; many which are similar in appearance. If you look here:

http://www.flatdb.com/cgi-bin/gbcbgidi.pl?Motor&&Part

you see a number of turntable motors for a variety of different manufacturers. I think the next step is to find an appropriate Panasonic part number that matches the B.S.

For example, the Panasonic NNT993SF microwave has a turntable motor part number: F63265G60AP that is in a number of Panasonic microwaves. It is available here: http://www.partstore.com for $10.36. I think with a little more detective work, a suitable motor can be found.
