Never made it but this looks tasty!

Do you think this recipe can be made with pork & beef?

Probably real lean beef.

I had the same thought as Kinyo. Not much in the way of deer in So Cal. Neat idea :)

I have, many times, just cook it at a lower temp and dont try to make it crispy or it will be dry.

I use an 11 x 15 lasagna pan and line with plastic wrap and pack the meat in TIGHTLY.

Then in the fridge over night, flip out on a rack, the plastic makes it so the meat dont stick to the pan.

Does anyone know what the spices are? I have a large stash of spices which I would like to use instead of the premix so If anyone can help me out would be much appreciated. Thks Piker
