2 Rounds 1 Butt and some Counrty style Ribs

I had the day off so at 7AM i started the roaststhe beef was thawed and pork butt frozen

One of the rounds got Gunpowder the other one got some John Henry smoked peacan
The butt got John Henry sugar maple and yellow mustard
gunpowder
smoked peacan
sugar maple butt
I had dead battery's this morning so no starting pictures but here are the ribs at the start

I will post more pictures as they cook rounds are at 144 and the butt is at 120 so i will be back

Man, you got a lot of room in that pit..   Love that upper shelf.

You need to get some Frogmats cut to fit!

Its a odd size 27"x16" and im getting one more rack so it is a full size top but it is big to me ;D

A MAK Frogmat would probably fit.   You'd have to slice some off of it lengthwise.

48 pounds of pellets in 6 days ;D wife is going to kill me :o

Hell, Pat will run through 48 pounds of pellets this weekend! :D  I won't spoil his weekend thread but let's just say the smoke will be rolling in Central Illinois this weekend.

Well i thought i would try something i seen on the net the pork butt hit 170 and the site said to tent it at 170 and leave it in the smoker and this is the first for this one  ;)

i used a foil pan a beer and foil

the ribs are camping now also ;D
this is the pork after the tent

and with it pulled

its not as tender as ftc but something learned now the ribs are out of the tent


beef is still low so it will continue ;D

Well im all done the ribs came off the grill with bones falling out ;D

supper was a hit

both beef roasts came off at the same time at 185 IT

can you tell witch one has gunpowder on it  ;D ;D ;D

Fun day and a full belly ;D
