Just saw this post Dale. I am sorry for being late and really feel for you and your family. Of course our prayers are with you. I spent a couple of months with my mother and she just passed in January. Still not up to doing much smoking. I just try to read most of the posts, but have not felt up to posting much.

Dale, I pray that you and your family feel the loving arms of God as they wrap around you in comfort in your and your family's time of fear and unknown. I pray for healing and for the ability of the doctors, nurses, and all the other caregivers to fully use the skills that they have.

update:

while my brother is still critical, he is alert which is a good sign, the doctors were concerned that he might have brain damage on Friday and Saturday , yesterday he was having some motor control and responding to questions even under heavy sedation. This is good news However is still critical, Today he will start dialysis to remove excess fluids and toxins that are in his system, His liver has basically shut down. Am unsure if it was because of the heart attack, him being a diabetic or on the medications the doctors are giving him.
