Here's what I have for pictures from the day of the Smoke Out.

The ribs I prepped in a down pour at 5am and put in the 6-rack

Proof that Pat did actually do something (Trimming Tri-Tips) other than take like a gazillion pictures! He didn't even cut himself with the sharp knife!! Although I did have to go get a band-aid for someone that bumped a finger against one of them laying there.

Some shots of folks hanging out. I believe it was starting to drizzle/rain during this time and poor Sonny was backed up against the garage protecting his butt so I couldn't kick it!! ;D

The best way to describe this past weekend was described to me by someone that didn't even attend "The forum coming alive during the day and the Chat room coming to life at night"

Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Good food! Good fun! Good friends!
We had an AWESOME time!
Thanks for all the hospitality!

I'm wore plumb shlapppp out.
Will sort through pics soon, and see if anything is recognizable.
(through the pig grease and moonshine muck on the lens)  :o

And a big thanks to our host...

... for putting up with our Motley Crew!.

We all signed the back of the banner, so it can be sent off to the next Bradley Smoke Outs and updated again.

And then it was time to eat again...

Sonny's sweet bread pulled pork + wagyu sliders, topped with a slather of OU812's killer Baked Beans.

Hal pitched a fit that I didn't bring him a roll, so 10.5 went back in and made him one of his own.

(that would be Starnes oozing out of the sides)

Then the bottles started coming out again..

Followed by the rain.

Scary looking pickled eggs.

And it ended up being a beautiful evening...

Chris fired up the combine rim. (literally)

Quick shots of the meat locker.  (briskets, tri-tips, Verons sausage, boudin..)

And the remaining sweet corn.    2 huge bags of that came home in Hal's bus.  I just shucked a pile of them out in the driveway for a week's worth of sweet corn for dinner.
