Well alrighty then!!
Actually the wife has me going to some fancy pretentious Inn this weekend for our anniversary. All is not lost I went onto their we site and they proudly serve smoked breast of duck.
Only problem is I'll likely end up in the kitchen, either showing them how or picking up a few tips.
Cheers to everyone!
Have a great weekend.

Happy Anniversary Snap![:)] Send our congrats to the mrs as well.

CJ's probably right. Kick them in the azz & show 'em how it should be done![8D]

To all of you, my inquiry regarding Olds' post is not yet complete, but hopefully will be resolved this weekend. I'll report in full as soon as I hear. Thanks for your patience.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

I must agree... Let's get back to smokin' etc....

Dow I was just pointing out the possibility of accidental deletion as I almost deleted one of my post while editing.

As for smoking..... I did about a 4lb corned beef brisket and 2lbs of twice smoked bacon yesterday. Never did corned beef before and it was great(believe it or not no added seasoning). and the twice smoked bacon.... well what i didn't eat(that's why I made 2lbs) i crumbled up for use on salad and/or baked spuds. Hopefully I can catch some trout or catfish this weekend to smoke up tuesday...

When in doubt smoke it.

Olds (and everybody),

OK, here's what I know. There are only two people who have Admin status and neither one of us deleted your topic. I was going to suggest the possibility of you accidentally deleting it yourself as has been mentioned by others. But, I'm not sure if that is even possible as I asked someone else to do a test for me & they were unsuccessful.

I am chalking this one up to one of those wacky cyber mysteries. Something like there's a glitch in the setup that because your name starts with "D" and it was the "n"th post and Venus was directly aligned with Pluto, it should be deleted.[B)]

John is looking to see if he can recover it, and if so, it will be replaced. You are more than welcome to start another thread on the same subject. I think it is a good thing for members to find common interests outside of smoking. It only makes us a tighter community.

If you only came here to talk about pets & pineapples it would be a different story. Fact is, you have made considerable contribution to the smoking subjects so I encourage you to share your other passions.

I'm locking this one up because I'm agreeing with a bunch of you. Let's get back to smokin'![8D]
