Here's a picture of the piece of PVC I used to direct the smoke to the centre of the fan. On fans with a regular blade they tend to have the greatest suction in the centre of the fan. The outside of the blades will tend to stir the smoke. I found using 4 inch concentrated the smoke to the centre of the fan. Also, notch the bottom like in the photo so that you don't suck the heat out of the smoker.

Are we smoking yet?

What do we want?

All together now......"We want photos"  ;D

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

Well, the pictures don't really show the smoke going out, but I can say, after adding foil around the 3 edges, it worked great!!! and the wings were delicious.  I did take a few pictures but will add later.

Ok, here's a look at the outside exhaust.

You can just see the smoke being sucked up here:

I have a neighbour who is going to bend me some sophet to go around here in place of the foil:

actually, he said he can bend me a nice looking exhaust intake too.

This was a good view outside.

I should have taken a picture of the finished wings -- they were excellent!!!

Nice set up!  Looking at one of those pics, it looks like you smoked your ET-73 pretty good too!  Personally I hang that unit on my puck feeder tube to keep it from getting all gunked up.

Nice job on the set up.
