I was looking at the post by gost9mm of the steak he had.  I had picked up some burgundy pepper marinated steaks today and his posting gave me a hankering for steak.  So, rather than freezing them for later as planned, I threw a big one on the grill.  Earlier this summer I replaced the old grate on my grill with "Grill Grates".  I gotta say that that was one of the best investments I have made.  They get nice and hot and produce great sear marks.  I sear the steak for 3 minutes on each side, then move them over an unlit area of the grill and finish cooking by indirect heat until IT is 140.  Then rest for 5 minutes and ENJOY!

That is a great looking steak, but a little small.......oh never mind it was just this dinky little mini computer I am using. LOL. This thing brings new meaning to "fat fingers".
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.
