Thanks I'll check the fuse out.
I'm pretty sure the temp sensor is working fine, as the temp readout on the controller/smoke generator is accurate.

He has a Digital Smoker that temperature sensor is for the original smoker, and the sensor in the digital will not cause the no power to the element problem.

The sensor plug will also not cause the no power sympton that he has.

Thank you for all your help. 
It appears as though the inline fuse is blown.
No continuity across fuse, and when I bypassed the fuse the heating element started working (I only did this for a minute or so until I confirmed the heating element was starting to glow) - see pic.

That is great that you got it figured out. Now give Bradley a call and if you are under warranty still they will send you one for free. Happy smokin'.
