so I am going to do some chickens this weekend. I figured if I am going to do one, mine as well do 3 and make an event out of it. I was just curius is this too much for a 4 rack? as I dont have the verticle holders for them I was just going to palce one on there own seperate rack and rotate every hour or so at 220 via pid. and finish in teh oven for better skin.

I plan on brinig them and then doing one wet season and 2 dry rubbs.

any tips or pointers as this is my first time doing chicken in the Bradley....Thanks

BTW each bird is around 5 pounds...

For chicken that is a large load for the Bradley, but it can be done. Keep the vent wide open, and use a cabinet temperature of 250°F. I would butterfly (spatchcock) the chicken, that will help them cook faster. One butterflied chicken will fit on a rack. If you are going to finish in the oven anyway, moving them to the oven right after the smoke has been applied will shorten the cooking time.

Another option would be to finish them of on the grill.
