Well with all this talk on BBQ ribs And telling my wife. Now she wants some! Oh well drag my butt off and do it. Lot of work, takes a long time, etc.etc.etc. Love it when she demands I cook! LOL
So went to the freezer and got a couple packs of the Western cut ribs bone in. Looks like a country style to me. Either way they are good and when I found them for .89 lb I bought 40 lbs. and froze they in convenient size packs. So figure I'll do a Jan's rub with a 3-2-1 0r 3-3-1 cook time about 225 degrees. In the foil Im going to try a cranberry - apple juice and the wife wants some Jacks BBQ on  these. Just so happens another thing my Christmas Exchange got me. Had a great time being involved and still enjoying it. Thanks again TomW! Well I will try to get some pics as this goes. One thing I do like about these is they seem to take more smoke on when cut , and also more rub and surface then on a rack. But not as impressive as a whole rack. :-[

Well done them and ate them. Good but was in a hurry and should have been on longer. Cooked them all dry BBq then while washing up wife took it on herself to sauce them. Wan't to happy about that or I would have done it my self. Wonder what she was thinking. But after working on the gardens and my boat and smoking all day I was to tired to do any thing but eat. Also opening my mouth would have probably started more then i felt like dealing with. Got to say the Irish pot luck was excellent and even the way they were the ribs was good also. I still managed a couple pics.

The blur on this one iss how mad I was. I was shaking. LOL Was all keyed up for dry ribs. Well at least she did't dump it on heavy.

Hope you enjoy! I'll do better next time. I will hide mine! LOL

Looks good. Down here were I'm at I believe those are the same ones they call here, country style ribs. Sometimes they will have a small bone in and sometime they're all pork meat.

Well from what i'm told the western has bones and country don't. I don't know! I like to make them from pork but to. I like these better then real ribs. A lot more meat and fat. And fat means flavor. Also bought another 30 or 40 lbs awhile back at .89 lb. With prices today I'll buy all the pork, beef or lamb I can get. No matter what the cut. LOL Just found a place to get whole hogs for 1.22 hanging weight from a farm in Pa. So lots of ribs ham and Bacon. Oh Wow!
