Does anyone know if you can use the foil throw away pans inside the electric smokers? I have seen it said not to use aluminum foil to line your smoker tray. Any help would be great.

Most people replace the water bowl with a 9"x13" aluminum pan, especially on greasy smokes(pork butts).  Also you can put a smaller aluminum pan on shelf under meat to collect juices/fat.  Do not use aluminum foil on V tray.

What she said.  The reason you don't use foil on the V tray is that you stand a chance of channeling grease the wrong way (or letting it "pool up") and can easily create a fire hazard.  Fire in your Bradley is not your friend.

Thanks for your feedback guys.

Don't cover any of the racks 100% with foil as you will trap the heat and smoke below the foil covered rack.

Yeah - forgot that part.  The best thing about this forum is that someone always has your back - thanks, Ky.

The throw away pans don't hurt anything if you want to use them. I have used them for brisket. I will boat the brisket in the throw away pan after the smoking is done. Keeps the brisket moist and you can easily carry it inside when done.
