Went to Lowe's yesterday..

to pick up some fertilizer and yard stuff.

This wasn't on the list, but I couldn't help myself.  :D


Pulled it out, oiled it well and seasoned it up. That was it, too many other things to do.
Gonna check out that other forum and get some idea's on what to make with this.  8)

Ive been thinking of getting one, how do you cook steaks, is there a grill to lay flat on this electric model?

Was curious also as the box says 2 in 1; smoker, roaster. Nothing about grilling. My coworker was looking at the same one cause I speak highly of the SRG.

I would think that you can grill with it if you wanted to. But if you really want to grill, I would go with the SRG.  But I didn't buy mine for Grilling. More for smoking and cooking chickens and chicken parts, turkey, Kabobs, Pork shoulders, Fattie's, etc.

I also like that it's electric and it's programmable with a built in temp probe. Neat feature.
