Homemade "Suddenly Salad"

Made up a salad this morn and thought some of ya might like it.

Homemade "Suddenly Salad"

2 cups uncooked mini conchiglie shells
1 large carrot shredded
1 cup frozen Petite peas
3/4 cup real mayonnaise
14 grams Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup bacon bits
1/2 tea. granulated onion
1/2 tea. granulated garlic
1/2 cup fancy shredded mild cheddar

In a large bowl mix mayo, dressing mix, bacon bits, onion and garlic powder. Chill wile making the rest.

Cook pasta, al dente.

Put peas and carrots in strainer and dump the hot water and pasta over, stir to combine then run cold over and stir till cooled.

Fold in the pasta and veggie's with the dressing mix and chill over night or 6 to 8 hr.

Serve chilled.

This is when I decided to add the cheese, thought it needed something.  ::)



Ready for some fridge time, gonna have this for dinner tonight.



I have made this many times, its gooood, just added some cheese this time.

That looks excellent, They charge $4.99 a pound for somethin like that at the Deli. Just printed the recipe as wife was headed to the grocery store. I be haven some Suddenly salad tonight too ;D
