Beefmann (Dale) and OU812 (Curt) are too polite to tell you the tale of the Pensrock gift. It has traveled many miles.
So a few days ago I get a PM from Curt asking if he had 2 secret Santa's because he received 2 gifts, one from Beefmann and 1 from Iceman. So instead of opening either one he got a hold of me. So I figured someone sent to the wrong person. I went and looked up the list and saw that Beefmann's should have went to Pensrock. I went and looked at the original PMs I sent. When I sent them instead of typing each one I cut and pasted the messages and just changed the names. I missed changing the one to Beefmann so he sent his to Curt also. So Curt was nice enough to re-mail it to Pensrock.
Thanks again Curt.
I guess one mistake out of 42 isn't too bad.

I wasn't gonna say nothin  ;D

Glad it all worked out

When I got home last night this was waiting for me.  I just got the chance this afternoon to open it up.  Thanks Greg (Pensrock).  I really appreciate it.  I have been wanting to try the Carolina Treet.  As  you can see I have some pork steak marinating it in right now.  It is not available around here.  So I am really looking forward to trying it for supper.  Also can't wait to try the smoked cheese and meats.  Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Your very welcome Sharon, I'm glad to see it got there on one piece. :)
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

Well we received our gift last week, but it has been a bad couple of weeks for us, so we have been negligent about posting.
Our Secret Santa was muebe.  When we opened our package, we found

Can't imagine why he thought that we liked pistachios.......  8)
We also got these:

We are really looking forward to trying that mango habanero sauce on some ribs!  We will also try that chipotle honey rib rub and SOON!  Two very good reasons to bring summer back to the winter dinner table right now!
Thanks again muebe!  Now if you will excuse us, we are off to munch on some pistachios.....

That chipotle/honey rub sounds like it would be great on some smoked pistachios. Now if you only knew someone who knows how to make them? Hmmmmm?
;) ;D

Thanks Bryan (BAM1)

Loads of great stuff, lots of sauces as I am a sauce junky and I can never have too much.

I thought it was never going to come, and I knew I was a good boy this year  :P

packed ever so nicely, get out of the way packing stuff

the contents.....

some seasonings (funny thing is I have been looking to get some of this stuff after seeing NEPA's using and talking about all this, was going to make a trip down the road to the place where he told me they have it and BOOM here is some. I will however still make a trip though. I will use this for my first batch of SS and hot bologna!

a ground beef stirrer thingie (funny thing is my wife HATES the fact that I always steal the one she has for when i mix my ground beef, NOW I HAVE MY OWN MUAHHHHH HA HA HA HA HA

This stuff just looks awesome and let me tell you I HATE WINGS  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

trout marinade, YES, please can I have another?!  That relish I will more than likely eat right out of the jar, LOVE relish!  SOmething tells me the wife will love that greek rub, and for the Slap Yo' Mama I have never had the pleasure of experiencing this before.

Darn, MORE BBQ sauce, what ever will I do with it!!!!!!  And an awesome note with a little explanation of all the goodies.

Again Bryan, I hope you and yours have a safe and Happy Holidays full of everything that you could ever ask for, want, need and not need!

Gus and the rest of the group this has been an awesome experience. I have been here less than a year and if for some reason the PO/Santa would have decided I wasn't a good boy enough to get any treats this past year all the knowledge and people I have met and everything I have learned has been gift enough!

Happy Holidays everyone!!!!!!!

AND THEN THERE WAS ONE..... 42  gifts shipped, 41 received. The only one still enroute is for Iceman --guess they are walking it to Alaska. They did tell the sender that it would be later this week that it would arrive. So keep the faith Iceman

Well all i got to say is it went off beautiful and you done a really fine job Gus. You  got a great bunch of people to deal with that no doubt helps. But I am sure there were times you thought you shouldn't have offered to do it. So I want to thank you again. And thanks for straightening me out too! Well guys another Christmas and a lot of love. Looking forward to what next year brings. As you guys never fail to amaze me with your ingenuity and smoked foods..Some day I hope to be in a class close to some of you. And to all my friends I say Merry Christmas and may God bless you!
