I got a box!! Well more like a case.





Inside there was 4 of these.



Since I had this one out, figured it was time to make some Bacon!

I normally get my Bellies from the locker plant with the hide already off. However this box had the skin on. So first things first get the skins off.



Went rather quick with a sharp knife had the skins off in about 15 minutes. Included 2 phone calls.



Got the dry ingredients all rubbed in



then the syrup was added



Everyone ready for a week long rest in the beer fridge. See you in a week!

Nice price.  Hey I am doing 4 more slabs right now.  The first try I used your recipe and must not have soaked the slabs long enough and it was a little salty.  I also did not sample before smoking the first slab.  But these 4 that are smoking now, I soaked for 2 hours and sampled and they are fantastic. Thanks for putting up the recipe/instructions for the bacon.  I will post pics tonight.
