I want to smoke some store bought kielbasa.  How long and at what temperature?  Any pre care things I should know.  Was thinking hickory?  Help is appreciated !  Thanks!

I just throw them in at 220 and go till they're done to the IT I want, for pork at least 140-145. Other's with more experience will be along to give you more info.

20-40 minutes should be enough smoke.

What he said, unless you like a lot of smoke.

Do I have to wait for temp to reach 145 being it is cured?

Greenhead

Do I have to heat until IT is reached?  Thought kielbasa was cured.

Probably not, I would get it hot enough to be warm throughout or I would get a complaint from SWMBO.

I really doubt if its cured, I would do as the others said unless I knew for sure it had cure in it.
