Heading to Devils Lake, ND in the morning for 3 days of Walleye and Pike fishing.  We actually got tired of catching them last year.  Hope we do half as well this time.  Looking forward to some smoked Pike.   :) :)

What a great way to spend three days, fishing and eating fresh fish.  I wish I could join you for both.

Hope you had a good trip Joe.

Have Fun Joe! If you have too many, you can bring some east with you in August. We can fry some up Friday night.

Just got back.  Had a good trip.  30 mph tail wind on the way home!!  Limited (40) on Walleyes.  Ate some while there.  Only three keeper Pike tho.  :(  30 - 33 inchers.  Nothing like Pikeman's, great fish!  Walleyes weren't giants 18 - 22 inches.  But we had a great time.  I'll try to add a pic tomorrow.

Nothing wrong with 18-22" 'eyes. They eat better than the big ones anyway. I actually prefer about 16"ers for the best eating, although it's sure a lot more fun to reel in bigger ones. Glad you had fun, Devil's lake is on my bucket list.

Here's a pic to prove I went!  Day one limit of Walleyes and a bonus Pike.
