If you northern guys don't know what they are, they are a big frreeek'n rat looking thing BUT being close to Louisiana, many folks eat these things.

Here is a thread from my Duck forum that gave me a chuckle or two.

It's not how much you smoke but how many friends you make while doing it...

They are better looking than those fisher cats that have been recently moving into my area.

Those little rascals look mean Hab. I don't think I'd want to corner one of those dudes. Have you ever seen one up close?

Habanero Smoker

I've never seen one up close, but about a month ago, as my brother was leaving in the morning, he had to case one off his lawn. He lives about 500 feet down the road for me. He estimated that it as about 30 to 35 pounds. He said it didn't make any sounds, it ran one way and he ran the other. DEC is stating that they are moving into New York from New Hampshire.

I just might pull the trigger on one of those if it was on my porch...then put it in a hole real quick before it comes back to life...that's a little creepy even for Arkansas standards.
