Need Microswitch Advice
« on: December 12, 2014, 04:40:52 pm »
Guys, I'm replacing the sticky microswitch in my six rack tomorrow.  Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

Replacement on mine was pretty easy.  The bigger issue though was that mine didn't need replacement.  Bradley sent me a new one, and after i installed it I got the same problem I had been getting before...the dreaded runaway puck issue.

Turns out my real issue was that the danged arm that rotates and pushes the microswitch was off by just a tiny fraction of an inch.  After messing with it I was able to move it far enough toward the micro-switch that it began depressing it properly and my problem was solved.  I now have an extra micro switch sitting around.

It's all really easy in there...I think I was able to use one screwdriver for the whole thing.

There's a pic here the might help:
