Bringing smoked food in the house

All I am asking for advise, my wife don't like the smoke smell in the house after smoking meat fish and cheese. so my question to you more seasoned smokers (GUYS) have any suggestion? My only thought is to find a used wine cooler with glass door to put the racks in while the meat cools.  I would possibly need a vent for the heat. Help please. Shasta Bob

a second fridge out on the porch or in the garage would do it and if you start smoking or brining a lot you'll be glad to have it

That's what I'm thinking. the wine cooler would just be a little show and tell with the glass door. if the food went right from smoker to the cooler will there be to much condensation inside? also this would keep the flies at bay

In my opinion if you go directly from the smoker into some sort of refrigerated compartment such as a wine cooler you are going to get a fair amount of condensation.

Would a vent work, or would it need exhaust fan?
