Well here is my 1st attempt at smoking a chicken. It stalled out for quite a while at 154f  but finished up in about 3 hrs.][/img]

I just spent $12 K on this Honda Accord! Why can't it tow my boat?!?

Now that's a beautiful bird!  Way to go.

Good looking bird. What flavor pucks and rub did you use? I did mine on Tuesday on a stand and it came out looking like yours. I used pecan and a modified Jan's rub. My wife and I have cooked chicken like this many times and enjoy much better than conventional preparation. On occasion we finish off in the oven.

I used apple pucks this time, the chicken was super moist and had a great smokey flavour. The only thing i'd like to fix is the skin was very rubbery, and i LOVE the skin!  I'll finish up in the oven next time :)

Great looking bird!  Chicken is still one of my favourites in the Bradley.

As an aside, I haven't been able to get any pecan bisquettes here locally.  May have to order on-line, would love to try some.
