Hello all!

This is my first post on this forum. I am currently repairing a BS1019 that has bent pins in both the male chassis connectors, IE the one you connect the meatprobes to. Looks like Hirose connectors, but I rather buy the original cable with connectors instead of solder a new chassis connector. I have searched a lot, but to no avail.

Any tips on where I can find these?

Thank you!

Welcome to forum! Hello, lovely to see you. If feasible, contact the manufacturer for BS1019 cables with connectors. They typically have replacement components. Hirose connectors may also be available at Digi-Key or Mouser. Depending on your interests, antique equipment forums can be a goldmine for finding hard-to-find parts. Good luck with your repairs—I hope your BS1019 works soon!

Thank you for the welcome and for the reply yaniebogisish!

The Hirose connectors are not difficult to find and as you wrote Digikey as well as Mouser most probably have them, but I rather order the original cable with connectors for the customer. I will drop the manufacturer an email and order both the connectors and the temperature sensor for the bisquette heater.
