That's great Rat, i'm pleased for you  ;) sounds encouraging too, i quit smoking about 15 months ago, and i've put on quite a bit of weight which i want to get rid of.
Most of my life i have been in fairly good shape, even when i smoked, but i would like to get back to something that resembles the old me. So i may well have a go myself  ;)

Well done. I did the same regime about 10 years ago. Went from 16 1/2 stone, 40 waist to 13 1/2 stone, 34 waist in 9 months. Sensible food and 1/2 hour a day on the rower. Now if I could just pack up smoking !!
I've only been wrong once, and that's when I thought I was wrong. But I was'nt.

WTG, Ratman! I can relate.....down from 225 to 174 on South Beach diet and LOTS of King salmon (I couldn't figure out how to brine/smoke or grill Lean Cuisine!?) ;)  I didn't get any $$ for it but I doubt that I'll have to shell out another $60K for open heart surgery anytime soon....
