Even BETTER NEWS!  Linda had her surgery Tuesday morning and everything went perfect.  Just got her home.  So far the severe pain in the left side of her head, left ear, and tingling in left fingers no longer exist.  The fingers part is a direct result of the surgery.  Since she is still on heavy duty pain killers, the head and ear portions are uncertain per the doc, but we are convinced that they have departed as well.

  That is great news. Glad that she had immediate relief. The human body is one beautiful machine. As time goes on she will notice on a daily basis how her body is healing itself. She will literally feel the process. Wish Linda my best.

ManX and Wildcat.....like me, you're likely to flunk the "true test" of satisfactory offshore boat ownership. The true test involves getting into a shower with all your clothes on, turning the cold water on full blast, then stuffing $100 bills, (converted to Pound notes for you, ManX ;) ), down the drain as fast as you can. If you actually enjoy this exercise, you're ready for the saltwater. If you're a little hinky about the whole thing, you'd better hold off and charter....  ;) And NEVER, EVER calculate the true cost per pound of fish, fur, or feathers.....if you can't help yourself and actually figure out the true cost, NEVER, EVER tell your wife your findings!

Kummok, you are right on.  Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.  Neither ownership nor charter is cost effective with regard to fish cost.  However, charter, unlike ownership, is cost effective for a day of fun and entertainment.  ;D
