If the money is not an object you might consider the six rack, particularly if you plan on smoking sausage.  A large summer sausage will just fit in my BDS 6 rack.

IMHO there is no other smoker that can come close to the BS.  I have the original version in SS!

So is this a bias opinion or is this something you have actual experience with :-)

I have the money to pick up the 6 rack, its just a lot to drop on something that may or may not work.  I hear that Bradley has GREAT customer service though....I will order the 6 rack this week, a sample pack of pucks, and a cover.  I'll have it shipped to my cousin in Colorado so he can inspect it, make sure there is no damage.  Then when I get home I'll report back in with my experiences....

Of course until then I'll stick around, learn a thing or two... ;D

I have some experience with a side firebox unit, water smokers, and have assisted other family members with a smoke house and pit smoking.  No experience with other electric units, but based on my research prior to my purchase, the BS is the best out there.  In addition this forum is great.  Lots of good folks with a wealth of knowledge in many areas.
