I am not the inventor and actually used this method not long after getting the smoker as I wanted to do my own cold smoked bacon.  It is super simple to set up as all you need is an aluminum dryer hose, box, some tape and the ability to cut a hole in the box.  Do you have an original bradley or a Digital?

I have the original...was fairly sure all of the digital "technology" would melt in my back yard!!!

The original is an easy setup then.  The digital requires the connection of the small sensor cord (goes to the temperature sensor) to allow the smoke gen to operate.  The original does not have that cord.  If you would like to give it a try and have any questions, we are here to help.

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. It's not my first rodeo with smoking but it is with the Bradley. I'm thrilled with this website and the forum! Until next time!!

Good luck.  Next time I am up in the Palm Desert area, I'll have to give you a shout.  West Coast Kansan is in Ocean Side and it is fun to get together with folks with common interests.  We got together with OWRSTRICK a couple times when he was in the LA area.  Some of the other members here are close to each other and sounds like they occasionally cross paths as well.
Enjoy.

It's very simple to set the BS up for cold smoking. Here is a link with detailed instructions on how to set it up.
