Good evening folks. :)
Does anyone her know when the new equipment for cold-smoking
with BS cabinets is coming?
I know BS have started producing it.

As a brand new Bradley Dealer, I hadn't yet heard that, but am very interested once they get 'em in the warehouse(s).

Gizmo

Didn't know they were selling a cardboard box, aluminum dryer vent hose, and some duct tape.   :D

Oh yah, for the digital, you need a longer temp sensor cord (Electronics parts store).

I do know they are modifying the DBS at some stage to make cold smoking easier and in the UK a long temp sensor cord is an optional extra when buying the DBS.

As for "new equipment for cold smoking" I think the best thing would be to email Bradley direct, not aware of anything appearing on the forum in relation to this?

I'm curious. What are the other ways. It may be helpful for me and other forum members. I also add ice to the cabinet, when necessary.

I heard they just got a big load of dorm-style refrigerators, and they're cuttin' holes in the side & hangin' posts for the generators on 'em. ;D

Maybe Bradley are gonna offer a purpose built chamber to take the place of using a cardboard box etc, also hose/ducting?

Maybe chamber that will match the look of the cabinets, Bradley logo etc?

Just thinking out loud here

Mmmmm....... sounds like you may be right LS. I know this has been discussed on the forum before but now cold smoking appears to be a lot more popular maybe they have decided it is worth their while at long last.  :D

Sounds like they're waking up to find out there's more than one way to skin the cat :D ;D ;) I mean geez I've only been cold smoking for 35 years or so. ::) :D Just funning guys. Hope they come out with a unit that compliments the present smokers. It would make a nice little package.

Sorry Jorgen, I didn't mean to undermine ya there.  I am not here to sell product and did not realize you were a dealer.  I was mearly trying to point out a very low cost alternative that is available right now (if you have a box). :D
Yes there are other ways to cold-smoke.  Here is post from TomG showing a more polished look.  I am glad to see them offering alternatives.  Now if they just put better temp control on as well.  ;)

I think you are right there LilSmoker

No problem Gizmo  :)

I have seen many use ice in the cabinet, put an external cabinet on top of th Bs, use a cooling fan ( like the one they use for cooling computers) And even one that used an aircoditioner ....

The rumour is true, Bradley are going to produce a cold smoking accessory along the lines discussed in this post and John Watkins (UK supplier) hopes to see it when he goes to Canada in August.

No idea when it will hit the market!
