Vent Gunk...

I had a cookshack smoker that got black gunk so i got rid of the smoker  :D  :D

Tell him about a longer spring enhanched screw LQ. That'll get him thinking. No, really the longer screw with a lock nut and spring does the trick. :D ;)

Thnks Ice....I'll pose the "springy" thing but I'm not sure he'll go for it!!! Seems reasonable to me!! :)

I came across another post somewhere here where a few people used denatured alcohol to clean theirs. I tried that tonight and WOW, it took the gunk right off. All is took was a folded paper towel dampened with the denatured alcohol. Didn't bother the finish one bit.

I use a spray of Brake parts cleaner.  Works well, but tough on the hands
