Tiny Tim-my wife also thinks I'm strange-actually she calls me a 46 year old that acts like a 17 year old-I take it as a compliment, but I don't think she intended it to be one...American Pie-Beta House...if you liked the others, you gotta see this one! More of the same, except this one has more, if you know what I mean. ;) ;D

Tiny Tim

Cool...got $25 to spend at Best Buy...hope they have that one when I can make the trip

La Quinta

Gotta go with The Quiet Man (JOhn Wayne and Maureen O'Hara in Ireland)...The Wizard of Oz, Lawrence of Arabia, all of the Harry Potters, all of the Lord of the Rings, The Star Trek movies and It's a Wonderful Life! Oh yeah...Mrs. Doubtfire and The Bird Cage...and anything Gene Hackman is in!! Oh geezzz...I forgot Fargo!!

In light of today's news/loss -
I will also add A Knight's Tale starring Heath Ledger as well as the Patriot.  GREAT & FUN MOVIES!

Midevil Jousting and Swordfighting to great rock music is just plain fun!  Cheesy but still fun  ;D

Scotty-G,
A Knight's Tale is one of my favorite fun movies. The music is great. I did not realize that HeathLedger, who just died was the lead actor. I have watched this movie 5 or 6 times. Another movie that I put in this class is Flash Gordon made in 1980. Again great music and action.

Gotta go with the Lord of The Rings series, Original Star Wars trilogy (I like the new ones also, but not as much) Caddy Shack (for comedy), The Thing (with Kurt Russell), The Harry Potter's, Valley Girl (Music is great), There are soooo many good ones. We have a huge DVD collection, so it's hard to choose.

For me, The Scarlet Pimpernel (Leslie Howard was great), The Name of the Rose, The English Patient.
Somedays you're the pigeon, Somedays you're the statue.

Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are two of my favorites.
Others
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Star Wars...all six
Pulp Fiction and Resrvoir Dogs
Get Shorty
Godfather I and II
Clerks
Chasing Amy(anything by Kevin Smith makes me laugh)
Unforgiven
La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful)
Saving Private Ryan
Its a Wonderful Life
Evil Dead series

FYI...been a lot of talk about the new movie Cloverfield.  I really enjoyed it.  If you are looking for a monster movie it will probably disappoint, but the way the story is told and shot is pretty darn good in my book.

Lot of good movies listed but one needs added. When my old friends all get together it is always the same movie just so we can quote it the rest of the night.

Thanks.  I dunno about cousins, could be, but I don't get into genealogy very deep.  At least I know there's a couple of people on here that don't think that movie lineup is wierd. :D

Godfather and Godfather II
Donnie Brasco
Just about anything that Tom Hamks, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are in

Hey Consig,
It's good to be posting again, even on an erratic schedule.

I forgot about Moonstruck.  I also forgot about:

The Road to Perdition
Gangs of New York (Loved Daniel Day-Lewis in that one)
The Departed
Casino
Goodfellas

Yea, there's definitely a theme to me............now, if I can't find a job soon, it may be time to bring the movies to life  ;D

Also not movies but series I enjoyed thoroughly:

Sopranos
Deadwood

Thanks for the kind words, gumbah. ;)
